The Tennessee chess association conducted 2023 PETER P. LAHDE open tournament in Knoxville, Tennessee from September 15th to 17th,2023.
Our Chess Gaja student Hemachandra participated in the tournament under the open section.
He scored 3.5 points out of 5. He secured victories against the players Travis (1811), Aaron (1822), Maxwell (1783) and drew with Athiyan(1832).so this performance increased his rating from 2145 to 2146
