The Texas chess center conducted a Sunday Swiss tournament in Carrollton, Texas on September 10th, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja student Neil participated in the tournament under open section.
He scored 3 points out of 4 and tied for the 2nd spot. He drew one of his games against a high rated player Tianjun(2007). This extraordinary performance increased his rating from 1864 to 1873.
