The Texas Chess Center conducted the Plano Swiss Tournament in Plano, Texas on October 14th, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja students Sanjay, Arjun, and Akshay participated in the open section of the event.
Arjun played extremely well by scoring 2.5 points out of 4 and secured 2nd place in the event. He managed to win the game against the players Rohan (1414), and Ojas (1702) and drew with Sreedev (1540). This performance increased Arjun’s rating from 1709 to 1712.
Sanjay scored 1.5 points out of 4 whereas Akshay scored 1 point out of 4.
