The Texas Chess Center conducted the Sunday Swiss tournament in Carrollton, Texas on October 29, 2023.
Our Chess Gaja student Shriyan participated in the tournament under the open section.
Shriyan scored 3 points out of 4 and tied for the 2nd spot in the event. He won one of his games against a high-rated player Likhit (1824). This extraordinary performance increased his rating from 1794 to 1804.
