16TH ANNUAL NEW YEAR BASH
The ACEROOK CHESS ENTERPRISES LLC played host to the 16th ANNUAL NEW YEAR BASH on January 6, 2024, in Olathe. Gurugrahan, a Chess Gaja student, delivered an impressive performance, demonstrating notable progress by scoring 2 out of 4 rounds and increasing his rating from 1645 to 1654.
TIM JUST WINTER OPEN XL
In Schaumburg on January 5, 2024, the King Registration organized the TIM JUST WINTER OPEN XL event. Abir, another talented Chess Gaja student, showcased significant improvement by scoring 3 out of 5 rounds. Furthermore, he boosted his rating by 23 points, moving from 1161 to 1184 and won with higher-rated Advik(1307) and Lillian (1292).
KNIGHTS OF CYPRESS – SECTION A
The Houston Scholastic Chess Association hosted the KNIGHTS OF CYPRESS event on January 6, 2024, in Cypress. Ramanathan, representing Chess Gaja, delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 1.5 out of 3 rounds. His impressive display resulted in a remarkable 7-point increase in his rating, rising from 1453 to 1460.
ARLINGTON CHESS CLUB OPEN 79
The Arlington Chess Club hosted the ARLINGTON CHESS CLUB OPEN 79
event on January 6, 2024, in Arlington. Arjun, representing Chess Gaja, delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 2.5 out of 4 rounds. His impressive display resulted in a rating increase from 1747 to 1748.
$3,000 JAN 2024 CHAMPIONSHIP
The Poisons Pawns Chess Club hosted the $3,000 JAN 2024 CHAMPIONSHIP event on January 5-7, 2024, in Houston. Shriyan, representing Chess Gaja, delivered an outstanding performance by scoring 2.5 out of 5 rounds. His impressive display resulted in a remarkable 10-point increase in his rating, rising from 1775 to 1785.
