Our Chess Gaja students continue to impress with their remarkable achievements in chess tournaments across the United States. Let’s celebrate their recent performances and victories!

Alpharetta, Georgia

Ranvijay participated in the Mohar Chess Tournament on November 16, 2024, organized by Mohar. Starting with a USCF rating of 411, Ranjivay demonstrated remarkable progress, scoring 3 out of 4 and boosting his rating to 577. This outstanding result reflects his rapid development as a promising chess talent.

Anhad competed in the GCC Friday Knight Face-Off on November 15, 2024, organized by Georgia Chess Club, LLC. He showcased his strategic brilliance, earning a perfect score of 3 out of 3 to secure 1st place. Entering with a rating of 721, Anhad’s stellar performance saw his rating soar to 844.

Portland, Oregon

Prahlada participated in the November 2024 Sunday Quads on November 17, 2024, organized by the Portland Chess Club. He scored 2 out of 3 and secured 2nd place. With this performance, his rating improved from 1147 to 1168, reflecting his consistent growth on the chessboard.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee

Shyam participated in the MTCS Fall Scholastic 2024 on November 16, 2024, organized by Central Magnet School. With a score of 2.5 out of 5, Shyam raised his USCF rating from 777 to 850, marking another step forward in his chess journey.

Irving, Texas

Yugan competed in the Texas Winter FIDE on November 16, 2024, organized by the Texas Chess Center. Scoring 3 out of 5, Yugan increased his rating from 1488 to 1498, continuing his steady progress in competitive chess.

San Diego, California

Ruhan shone brightly at Gambito -1074 on November 16, 2024, organized by the San Diego Chess Club. Scoring an impressive 3.5 out of 4, Ruhan clinched 1st place, raising his USCF rating from 1947 to 1964. His performance underscores his dominance in high-level competition.

Charlotte, North Carolina

Vihaan participated in the CCC Reverse Angle 219 on November 16, 2024, organized by the Charlotte Chess Center. Scoring 2 out of 3, Vihaan maintained his competitive edge and raised his rating from 2043 to 2050, further cementing his place among elite young players.

Singapore

Aurik competed in the 2024 26th KCFAP Standard-60 Sunday Tournament from November 3–17, 2024, organized by the KCFAP With a rating of 1500, Aurik delivered a remarkable performance, scoring 4.5 out of 6 and securing 1st place. His consistent and high-caliber gameplay continues to shine.
