Our Chess Gaja students continue to excel in competitive chess! Let’s celebrate the recent achievements of our rising stars as they shine on the chessboard.

Frisco, Texas

Sreevarshan competed in the Frisco Swiss on February 23, 2025, organized by the Texas Chess Center. He secured 2 out of 4 points, demonstrating resilience and strategy, and boosted his USCF rating from 1486 to 1506.

Austin, Texas

Ved participated in the 2025 TCA Region VI Scholastic Championship on February 22, 2025, organized by Rocks & Rooks Chess Club. He gained valuable tournament experience, scoring 1.5 out of 5 and increasing his USCF rating from 666 to 674.

Samvir also competed in the 2025 TCA Region VI Scholastic Championship on February 22, 2025, and displayed great effort, scoring 2.5 out of 5 and improving his USCF rating from 932 to 946.

Nashville, Tennessee

Shyam participated in the Ron Seaney Memorial 2025 on February 22, 2025, organized by Central Magnet School. He delivered a solid performance, scoring 3 out of 5, and increased his USCF rating from 876 to 934.

Schaumburg, Illinois

Gurugrahan took part in the 2025 US Amateur Team North from February 21 to February 23, 2025, organized by Chess Weekend. Competing at a high level, he scored 3.5 out of 5, showcasing his tactical strength and boosting his USCF rating from 1869 to 1946.
