Chronicles of Chess Champions from Chess Gaja: February 6 to February 12, 2025

Our Chess Gaja students continue to showcase their incredible talent in competitive chess! Let’s take a moment to celebrate their recent accomplishments as they continue to impress on the chessboard.

Cupertino, California

Khesav competed in the Cupertino Kids Quads on February 8, 2025, organized by Bay Area Chess. Entering with a USCF rating of 878, Khesav delivered a strong performance, scoring 1.5 out of 3 and raising his rating to 894.

Surya also participated in the Cupertino CA$H Swiss61 on February 8, 2025, organized by Bay Area Chess. Surya showcased his growing expertise, scoring 3 out of 4 and significantly increasing his USCF rating from 1340 to 1444.

North Richland Hills, Texas

Tanav played in the Many Springs 142 tournament on February 8, 2025, organized by Tarrant County Chess Club. He entered with a USCF rating of 1421 and fought hard in a competitive field, scoring 1 out of 3 and improving his rating to 1435.

New York, New York

Naysa participated in the Championship at Manhattan Day School on February 9, 2025, organized by Tri-State Chess. She delivered an outstanding performance, scoring 3.5 out of 4, securing 1st place, and boosting her USCF rating from 990 to 1041.

Pleasanton, California

Ayaan competed in the 2025 KLC Tri-Valley Friday Night – Feb 7 on February 7, 2025, organized by King’s Land Chess. Ayaan dominated the tournament with a perfect score of 3 out of 3, clinching 1st place and elevating his USCF rating from 1182 to 1308.
