Our Chess Gaja students continue to showcase their exceptional skills on the chessboard! Let’s celebrate the recent achievements of our rising stars in competitive chess.

Irving, Texas

Tanav also participated in the DFW FIDE Royale 2025, demonstrating strong play throughout the tournament. He scored 2 out of 5, increasing his USCF rating from 1417 to 1430.

Lewisville, Texas

Akshay showcased his chess prowess at the TCA North Texas Scholastic Champion from February 28 to March 2, 2025, organized by the Tarrant County Chess Club. With a stellar 5 out of 7 performance, Akshay significantly improved his rating from 1724 to 1848.

Sanjay also participated in the TCA North Texas Scholastic Champion and scored 5 out of 7 and increasing his USCF rating from 1950 to 1967.

Santa Clara, California

Khesav participated in the 2025 CalChess SuperStates K & K-5 Championship from March 1 to March 2, 2025, organized by Bay Area Chess. He scored 2.5 out of 6, raising his USCF rating from 894 to 913.

Ammar also played in the 2025 CalChess SuperStates K & K-5 Championship, showing remarkable endurance and scoring 3.5 out of 6, improving his USCF rating from 1053 to 1079.

Plano & Frisco, Texas

Sreevarshan participated in the Plano Swiss tournaments on March 1 organized by the Texas Chess Center. With a solid performance of 3 out of 4, he increased his USCF rating from 1506 to 1544.

Pleasanton, California

Ayaan competed in the 2025 KLC Pleasanton Friday Night – February 28, organized by King’s Land Chess. With an excellent score of 2.5 out of 3, Ayaan’s rating rose from 1308 to 1325.

Wantage, New Jersey

Ansh played in the NJ HS State Championship 2025 from March 1 to March 2, 2025, organized by the New Jersey State Chess Federation. He put up a commendable performance, scoring 3 out of 5, and elevating his USCF rating from 1867 to 1887.
