Akshay delivered a flawless performance at the Plano Swiss on April 19, 2025, organized by Texas Chess Center. Entering with a USCF rating of 1752, Akshay scored a perfect 4 out of 4, clinching 1st place and boosting his rating to 1812. A truly remarkable showing of precision and confidence!
Yugan participated in the Frisco Swiss on April 20, 2025, also organized by Texas Chess Center. He held steady with a score of 2 out of 4, maintaining his rating at 1626. A solid performance and a great learning experience!
Bellingham, Washington
Patrick competed in the Bellingham Open on April 20, 2025, organized by the Washington Chess Federation. He started with a rating of 784 and impressed with a score of 2.5 out of 5, boosting his rating to 898. That’s a leap of over 100 points—way to go, Patrick!
Brookfield, Wisconsin
Gurugrahan took on a competitive field at the 2025 US Amateur North, held from April 18 to 20, 2025, and organized by the International Academy of Chess. With a score of 2 out of 5, he gained valuable tournament experience while nudging his rating from 1961 to 1963. Every point counts at this level!
