Georgia
In Roswell, Anhad played the Mohar National Chess Day Tournament, scoring 3 out of 4 points and improving his rating from 800 to 818. A strong and confident performance that highlights his growing understanding of the game!
Florida
In Estero, Our student participated in the Gulf Coast October Open, a National Chess Day Event, scoring 3 out of 5 points with a rating climb from 859 to 872. Our student’s consistent tournament play continues to pay off week after week.
New York
Priyansh had a flawless performance at the Capital Open, finishing with a perfect 4/4 score and gaining rating points from 2250 to 2256. Another dominant showing that reflects his strong form in national events!
California
California saw two standout performances this week.
In Milpitas, Surya participated in the 2025 US Class National Championship, scoring 3.5/6 and gaining rating points from 1659 to 1679, showing steady progress at higher competition levels.
Meanwhile, in Oceanside, Vian competed in the North County Chess Club event, scoring an impressive 5.5/8, with his rating increasing from 1777 to 1808 — an excellent result against a strong field!
Special Highlights
A special highlight this week comes from Kanav Raman, who participated in the CASPL Post PSLE Junior (U12) FIDE Rated Rapid Chess Challenge 2025 – Series 1 and secured an impressive 1st place with 5.5 points out of 6 rounds!
