Chess Gaja students delivered yet another impressive week of performances across the United States from September 26 to 28, 2025. From California to Florida, Georgia to Washington, our young talents continued to make steady progress in their chess journeys with remarkable results and solid rating gains.

California

In San Francisco, Ayaan participated in the 3rd Gray Memorial Tournament, scoring 2.5 out of 4 and gaining valuable experience while improving his rating from 1610 to 1632.

Georgia

Anhad competed in the NACC Pizza Scholastic 4 event in Suwanee, finishing with 2 points out of 4 and increasing his rating from 782 to 812, showing consistent growth at the scholastic level.

New York

A standout performance came from Priyansh, who dominated the TRM185 – Bethlehem Central MS event in Delmar, scoring a perfect 4/4 and boosting his rating from 2245 to 2249. This undefeated performance highlights his strong form and tactical precision!

Florida

Dhriti participated in the CFCC Autumn Open Master-Expert-ABCD in Orlando, earning 3 points out of 5 and climbing from 834 to 871—a solid gain that reflects her hard work and growing confidence against tough competition.

Washington

Vyom continued his great run by securing a perfect 3/3 in the Grand Knights Quads held on September 26 in Bellevue. His dominant performance resulted in a remarkable +153 rating jump (625 → 778), marking one of the biggest improvements of the week!

Texas

In Coppell, Yugan participated in the CCC Classical Sep 26 (TX) event, scoring 2 out of 5 and showing persistence in a strong field, maintaining a steady rating near 1717.
