This week’s Chronicles brings two standout performances from opposite ends of California, as our Chess Gaja students turned tournament weekends into serious rating breakthroughs. From the Bay Area to San Diego, the same August 15th weekend produced two of the strongest single-event jumps we’ve seen all summer. Big rating gains like these don’t happen by accident — they’re the product of consistent study, sharp preparation, and the courage to sit down across the board and compete. We couldn’t be prouder of the growth on display, and we’re excited to see this momentum carry into the next round of events. ♟️
