We don't offer free trial or demo classes. Instead, we offer 2 sessions of a paid Starter Class — a structured introduction designed to properly assess your child and begin meaningful coaching from day one.
All our coaches are highly accomplished and vetted by the Chess Gaja team. Our experts will appoint the most appropriate coach for your child. Coach details are shared as soon as you pay for the 2 Starter Classes — this is our company policy to ensure proper matching.
All our coaches are of Indian nationality, teaching students across the world online. Classes run across multiple time zones to suit students in India, Singapore, USA, Australia, the UK, and beyond.
Yes. Our quality check team will review class recordings and your concerns, then make the appropriate decision. We prioritise student experience — if the fit isn't right, we make it right.
Coach level refers to the career-high FIDE rating achieved by each coach. Higher FIDE ratings correspond to stronger competitive experience and deeper chess understanding — directly impacting the quality of instruction your child receives.
GM Priyadharshan conducts regular training sessions for all coaches, reviews difficult student games, and sets the curriculum and methodology standards used across the academy. Every student — regardless of which coach they're assigned — benefits from GM-level oversight.
