Abhinav took on the challenge of competing in the prestigious 15th Chennai Open International Grandmaster Chess Tournament for the Sakthi Group Dr. N Mahalingam Trophy in Category C. Despite facing strong opposition, he remained resilient, scoring 1 out of 5 points. His perseverance earned him a slight rating increase of 0.72 points, bringing his FIDE rating to 1660. Every tournament is a learning experience, and Abhinav’s determination to improve is commendable.
